  8. These buttons select which type of tone to decode:

  10. DTMF (‚ÄúTouch Tone‚Äù which is probably a trademark of the telephone company)
  11. EIA 
  12. CCIR
  13. XPH tones

  15. The decoded digits are displayed in the text window.

  17. (XPH is a spy numbers station that sends messages via tones, rather than voice or morse code. It is believed to be operated by a Russian intelligence organization)
